Boston University is excited to welcome visitors to campus. BU Admissions will be hosting in-person tours and information sessions during the fall 2021 semester.
All campus visitors are required to follow health and safety protocols adopted by the University and as required by federal, state, or local regulations. This includes self-monitoring of COVID-19 symptoms before arrival, wearing a mask when required, and complying with the University’s safety guidelines.
Visitors must register in advance for an appointment before arriving on campus. Please select a date from BU Admissions’ events calendar to register for a campus program. Visitors may bring a maximum of two guests on campus. If you are unable to secure an appointment and would like to visit campus, you are welcome to take a self-guided mobile walking tour, which provides an in-depth experience of BU’s Main campus, West campus and Housing facilities.
At this time, no visitors will be allowed inside buildings on campus, other than the Visitor Center. BU Admissions tours will not include any indoor visits to campus buildings.
Visiting Kilachand Honors College
As current University safety guidelines do not allow visitors inside campus buildings other than the Visitor Center, Kilachand Honors College will not offer tours of Kilachand Hall during the fall 2021 semester. However, our staff would be pleased to meet you during a Virtual Information Session (see below), a Virtual 1-1 Informational Meeting, or by email or phone.
We are following the health and safety measures above to protect our current students, faculty, and staff. We hope you understand and we look forward to being in touch this fall! In the meantime, reach out to our Kilachand Ambassadors to learn more about our students’ programs and interests as well as their perspective on Kilachand Honors College.
Kilachand Virtual Information Sessions
We are pleased to offer virtual information sessions throughout fall 2021. Join us for an introduction to our interdisciplinary curriculum and living-learning community. Kilachand staff and student ambassadors will discuss our unique courses, co-curricular events, experiential education opportunities, and the supportive residential community of Kilachand Hall. Break out into informal conversation groups with current students to hear what they value about Kilachand, learn how the program integrates with diverse majors while fulfilling general education requirements, and ask any questions you may have. All sessions will run approximately 45 minutes.
