Current Students

Kilachand offers students an integrated four-year curriculum that addresses important global, social, corporate, and geopolitical challenges augmented by an extensive series of co-curricular and community experiences over the course of four years. The Kilachand community is comprised of students studying a variety of disciplines across all of Boston University’s undergraduate schools and colleges who engage in a cohort-based residential experience. Students satisfy BU Hub requirements through their major and other academic programs, with the Kilachand curriculum serving as their primary pathway.

Kilachand Academic Advising

Advising at Kilachand is a collaborative process of intellectual exploration that establishes a network between Kilachand, our students’ home schools and colleges, and the many resources of Boston University. We hope that students will visit us familiar with their requirements, allowing us to use our time together to make thoughtful choices and nurture reflection.

Experiential Learning

DO. REFLECT. LEARN. CHANGE.

Kilachand Honors College’s Experiential Learning Program offers students opportunities to learn outside traditional academic classrooms, that is, to learn by doing and reflecting on the experience of doing. Kilachand students take advantage of internships, undergraduate research, study abroad, and other experiential learning programs at Boston University. They also have some unique opportunities supported by Kilachand.

Student Groups

Kilachand Honors College strives to engage students inside and outside of the classroom. We encourage students to become Peer Mentors, Kilachand Ambassadors, and members of KLAB. Kilachand Honors College student groups give Kilachand students the opportunity to engage with peers and administrators in Kilachand, hold leadership positions, and represent Kilachand outside of the College.
