Returning CRC Resident Application Walkthrough
The following images provide a preview of the CRC Housing Application for eligible graduate students. This application must be completed in order to be assigned a space in one of our graduate residences. All steps are shown to provide students with information that might be necessary when completing the application. Valuable information is provided at each step.
Graduate Housing Portal
Access the My Housing portal by clicking here. Enter your BU login name and your Kerberos password.
Term Selector
Here, you will be able to select the term for which you are completing the application. Select “CRC Grad Housing Application”, then “Apply” to start your application.
Welcome Page
You will be brought to the welcome page, where the steps for completing the application are outlined. Once you have read it over, click “Save & Continue”.
Guarantee Payment Information
Here, the details for how to pay the $500 are outlined. Click “Save & Continue” after reading.
Payment Overview
This is where the guarantee payment of $500 first appears. It will prompt you to “pay now” and bring you to the next step in paying.
Make Payment
Fill in the payment amount of $500. Click on “Next – Payment Method”.
Payment Method
Here, you will select a payment method for your deposit. There are two options to pay: credit/debit or eCheck.
Mid-Year Graduation Information
This section of the application will ask if you are graduating at the end of the Fall semester.
Mid-Year Graduation Agreement
Here, you will be asked to use your BU ID number to e-sign an agreement stating that you understand you will not be able to terminate your RLA even if you graduate at the end of the Fall semester.
Medical Preferences
If there are any medical preferences that should be taken into consideration when making assignments, please select “Yes”. If you select “Yes,” another page will become available where you can provide more information.
Medical Information
If you have a medical condition, please provide a brief description and reason as to why you need a specific room type or placement. We will do our best to accommodate it.
Personal Insurance Page
On this page, you are asked to acknowledge that you are encouraged to obtain/carry adequate personal property insurance, as the University’s insurance program is limited to coverage of University-owned property.
Additional Occupants
This section of the application will ask if you wish to add any additional occupants to live with you. Additional occupants can be BU students but do not have to be. Students with additional occupants cannot live in dorm-style graduate housing. You can learn more about Additional Occupants here.

Here, you will indicate the number of additional occupants you will be applying with. Students can add up to two additional occupants to their application.
