Room Change Requests Walkthrough
Students looking to change their on-campus housing may submit a Room Change Request by filling out the online web form. All steps are shown to provide students with information that is necessary when completing the form. Click on images to expand.
My Housing Portal
To login to the My Housing Portal click at the top of the page.
Login
Enter your BU username and Kerberos password to login.
Home Page
On the top ribbon, select Room Change Request to access the web form.
Room Change Application Selector
The first step is to select the term for which you are completing the Room Change Request.
Room Change Request Preferences
The second step is to specify building/area preferences, room type preferences, and answer additional questions. After carefully reading the information at the bottom of the form, click Submit Room Change Request.

Once the request has been submitted, a confirmation page will be displayed.
Room Change Offer
When you receive an offer you will be sent an email asking you to log back in to the Room Change Request form. You will be able to view all details about your offer. You will be prompted to accept or decline the offer, agree to the terms of the room change, and if applicable, you will be prompted to select a meal plan. This option is only available if you’re moving from an apartment-style to a dorm-style residence.

Once you either accept or decline an offer you will receive a confirmation page.
