Schmidt Comments on Biden’s First 100 Days

Vivien SchmidtJean Monnet Professor of European Integration and Professor of International Relations and Political Science at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, appeared in an International Institute of Peace (IIP) video commenting on President Joe Biden’s first 100 days in office. 

In her comments, Schmidt discussed how, under Biden, diplomacy and multilateralism is back and the United States has rejoined the global conversation on climate change. Schmidt provided comment along with a number of other international experts, including Bruno Macaes, former Europe Minister of Portugal; Angela Kane, Vice President of the IIP, former United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Management; and Fred Tanner, Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, former Senior Advisor to the OSCE Secretary General, IIP Advisory Board member

Vivien Schmidt is Professor of International Relations and Jean Monnet Professor of European Integration at the Frederick S.
