Najam Meets With BU Alumni in Beirut

Adil Najam, Dean of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, met with Pardee School and BU alumni in Beirut, Lebanon on December 23-24, 2018 for a series of engaging discussions and thoughtful dialogues about the mission and future of the Pardee School. 

The meetings, which were organized by Boston University Alumni Relations, included a dinner with leading alumni in Beirut and a reception with alumni in the city that allowed Najam to introduce the Pardee School to alumni in the area.

Adil Najam is the inaugural dean of the Pardee School and a professor of international relations and also of earth and environment at Boston University. He was a co-author for the Third and Fourth Assessments of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC); work for which the IPCC was awarded the 2007 Nobel Prize for advancing the public understanding of climate change science.
