William Keylor, Professor of International Relations and History at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, said that airport security would ramp up in the wake of a crashed Russian airliner this weekend.

Keylor made his argument on a Nov. 6 broadcast on NECN News. His segment was entitled Mass. Rep. Calls for Independent Airport Security Studies.”

“The interviewer asked me to comment on the consequences of the downing of the Russian plane beyond the tragic consequences for the passengers and their families,” Keylor said in an interview with the Pardee School. “For Egypt, the major consequence will be a drastic reduction tourism by travelers who worry about airport security in the country.”
