Welcome to the Enrollment & Student Success office at Boston University’s Metropolitan College (MET). Our professional student success advisors and operations staff are here to help students navigate University policies and resources, build community, and maximize their BU MET experience. We offer support for both undergraduate and graduate students, with advising services available year-round by phone, email, and both virtual and in-person appointments.

Looking for your advisor? Login to your MyBU Student Portal. Your advisor(s) will be listed on the landing page Dashboard under the Advisors header. Alternately, you can find your advisors using the lefthand navigation bar: Academics, then Advisor Information.

For undergraduate and nondegree students, we can help you with curricular planning, major advising, transfer units, course selection, changing majors, student development, and other academic matters. All students enrolled in an undergraduate degree or certificate program are assigned an academic advisor for the duration of their program.

For graduate students, we help identify resources you can access around the University in support of your personal, community, and career goals. Additionally, every graduate student is assigned two advisors for the duration of their program:

Your Graduate Program Advisor is a faculty member in your academic department who provides academic support, advice on course selection, research opportunities, industry preparation, and more.

Your Academic Advisor is a professional staff member in your academic department to help with the logistical aspects of your studies, such as academic policy, registration processes, degree progress and graduation processing, and University compliance.
