Choosing which courses to take: There is no single “right” path through any of our majors. Your course selection should be based on your interests and your intended post-graduation career path. We suggest you speak with your advisor about choosing the best courses for you.

What should I do if a course is full? If you would like to register for a Math and Statistics course that is full, the department will not be running any waitlist for Spring 2024 courses. We will not be manually changing sections for students. If you have a direct course conflict or are in an incorrect discussion section, then you will need to drop the course and wait for a seat to open in the correct section. If you are a Math major senior, then you should make an appointment with Chelsey Edwards on Handshake to adjust your schedule. If you are not a senior, then you will need to take the course in another semester. Non-math students should meet with their academic advisor who can then contact Chelsey if needed.

Transferring Credit: To obtain transfer credit for courses taken at another institution, please follow the instructions on our Transferring Credit page.
