Hi everyone! My name is Arielle Vargas and I am a first-generation student from Waterbury Connecticut. I am in the College of Arts and Science and I study Biology, and Chemistry pursuing the Pre-medical Track! I am interested in Archeology, Sustainability, Crocheting, Reading, Hiking, and Art. Some of my favorite programs at BU are the Professional Clothing Closet, Oral Health Advocacy Club, and the many mentorship programs that BU offers.
In my free time, I watch movies with friends, go to concerts, and explore Boston. My favorite aspect of living in Boston is the community that I have here. Even though I am only in my first year, I feel I have already built a community of friends, colleagues, and mentors. I also like Boston’s public transportation. At first I was scared to ride the train, but as time has gone on I have come to appreciate its accessibility and convenience!
