Hygienist, School of Dental Medicine, Clinical Affairs – A Dental Hygienist is a licensed member of the dental team responsible for the preventive aspects of oral health that provide clinical, education and therapeutic services that promote optimal oral health. This position is responsible for: Collecting patient and clinical date by reviewing and updating medical history, identifying contraindications and requesting medical clearance as necessary, performing oral cancer screenings and perio assessments, charting dental findings.
