Linda H. Doerrer completed her B.A. in chemistry at Cornell University, working with Klaus Theopold and Frank DiSalvo. Her Ph.D. work was done at MIT with Stephen Lippard, after which came postdoctoral studies with Malcolm Green at the University of Oxford. She served on the faculty at Barnard College from 1999 to 2006. Since that time she has been at BU, and is currently a Professor of Chemistry. She has received NSF CAREER, Henry Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar, and Fulbright Scholar Awards.
