Postdoctoral Associate, Boston University

Casey is an alumna of Boston University — she graduated in 2010 with a joint degree in COM (Film and Television) and CAS (Philosophy). After a few years working in film production, she returned to school to study physics, receiving her B.S. from The Ohio State University in 2015 and her Ph.D. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020, where she was a Royster Fellow and a DOE Computational Science Graduate Fellow. She works on high-performance computing applications in lattice field theory, including studies of disordered materials, rotating superfluids, and aspects of Lattice QCD.
