EdM in Language & Literacy Education
The Master of Education Language & Literacy Education program is designed for graduate students who are interested in research and practice in literacy and language in public and nonpublic education settings. The course of study addresses research and theory that informs the acquisition, development, and use of language and literacy in home, school, and community settings.

More About Our Program
You will learn to create and critically examine learning contexts that are consistent with the linguistic and literacy demands of our increasingly multimodal world, and that will promote literacy and language as pathways to achieving socially just and equitable educational opportunities for all learners. You will learn alongside nationally acclaimed faculty in Literacy, Language, Deaf Studies, TESOL, and Bilingual Education, as well as highly motivated and thoughtful peers.
