Emotional health is essential to overall well-being. People who are emotionally healthy cope effectively with life’s challenges, manage their thoughts, feelings and behaviors, have positive relationships and feel good about themselves and their lives.  Most of us will experience times in our lives when our emotional health is disrupted by serious life stressors, behavioral health conditions or addictions.   At such times, it’s often helpful to seek out additional support from caring professionals.

See the BU Faculty & Staff Assistance Office for information on common concerns and on services available to support emotional and behavioral health for you and your family.
