    CAS PY 105

The CAS PY 105/106 sequence satisfies premedical requirements. CAS PY 105 covers some of the basic principles underlying the physics of everyday life, including forces and motion, momentum and energy, harmonic motion, rotation, and heat and thermodynamics. Carries natural science divisional credit (with lab) in CAS. Effective Fall 2018, this course fulfills a single unit in each of the following BU Hub areas: Scientific Inquiry I, Quantitative Reasoning I, Critical Thinking. 4 cr. Tuition: $3100; lab fee: $200; total charge: $3300

    Summer 2 (July 5-August 15)

    Denise Freed
In Summer 1, students taking CAS PY 105 must register for three sections: lecture (CAS PY 105 A1), discussion (CAS PY 105 A2), and a laboratory (CAS PY 105 A3 or CAS PY 105 A4 or CAS PY 105 A5 or CAS PY 105 A6).

In Summer 2, students taking CAS PY 105 must register for two sections: lecture (CAS PY 105 B1) and a laboratory (CAS PY 105 B2 or CAS PY 105 B3).
