Health Law & Policy Alumni Panel to Share Insight on Career Paths.
In collaboration with the SPH Career & Practicum Office, the Health Policy & Law Student Organization (HPLSO) will hold its inaugural summer Health Policy & Law Alumni Networking Panel on Tuesday, July 21, from 5 pm-6 pm. The virtual event on Zoom will connect students with HPL alums to offer insight and guidance on their careers.
“The Health Policy & Law Alumni Networking Panel is a great opportunity for students to connect virtually with SPH alumni and gain insight into potential career paths after graduation,” says the HPLSO Executive Board. “There will be an excellent line-up of panelists with a diverse set of backgrounds who will share advice and answer questions from students about their time at SPH and their post-graduation experiences.”
The panelists include alums Alyssa Benalfew (SPH’19), program manager for the Office for Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention at the Boston Public Health Commission, Megan Houston (SPH’19), research analyst for the Massachusetts Legislature’s Joint Committee on Health Care Financing, Morgan McCaliister (SPH’19), government affairs and public policy analyst for the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, and Steve Jang (SPH’17), healthcare data analyst at Alphabet Inc.’s Verily Life Sciences.
