2019 December Graduate Reception.

On December 6, fall School of Public Health graduates celebrated their achievements at a reception to recognize their hard work and to acknowledge the support of family and friends.

SPH graduates students three times each year: at the end of the summer semester, at the end of the fall semester, and at the end of the spring semester. 

Many students in the 2019 December graduating cohorts are expected to return to campus next May for the official SPH Convocation ceremony on Saturday, May 16 from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm at the Track and Tennis Center, 100 Ashford St. The ceremony will be followed immediately by a tented reception from 12:30 – 2:30 pm in the adjacent lot. Tickets are not required for the ceremony or reception. 

In addition to the convocation ceremony, Boston University also holds an All-University Commencement Ceremony in each year in May, during which graduating students from all Schools and Colleges at Boston University are invited to participate. The 2020 All-University Commencement Ceremony will be held Sunday, May 17, beginning at 1:00 pm at Nickerson Field, 285 Babcock Street.
