Fall26: Monday Schedule on Tuesday Oct 13
Classes are suspended on Monday, October 12, 2026 for Indigenous Peoples’ Day. BU will substitute a Monday schedule on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 in OUR classrooms. All of the classes and events booked on Monday, October 12, 2026 will shift to Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Refer to the official academic calendar for other substitution days this year.
What does this mean for my event?
For Events in an OUR Classroom
- If you want to hold an event on Monday, October 12 in an OUR classroom, make your request for Tuesday, October 13 in 25Live.
- If you want to hold an event on Tuesday, October 13 in an OUR classroom, make your request for Monday, October 12 in 25Live.
Already scheduled your event in 25Live?

- If you have an event scheduled in 25Live on Monday, October 12 in an OUR classroom, your event will actually take place on Tuesday, October 13 in your assigned space.
- If you have an event scheduled in 25Live on Tuesday, October 13 in an OUR classroom, your event will actually take place on Monday, October 12 in your assigned space. This applies only to meetings & events; academic classes will not take place on Indigenous Peoples’ Day on October 12.
Remember that the only classroom building open on the holiday is CAS.
For Events in Events & Conferences Spaces
If you have an event scheduled in 25Live on Monday, October 12, or Tuesday, October 13 in an E&C space, your event will actually take place on the date listed in 25Live; E&C spaces do not follow sub-day scheduling.
For Events in Other Spaces
For all other spaces, please contact the appropriate space owner to see how the substitute Monday schedule may affect your reservation.
