Sign up for an upcoming 25Live training session! Whether you are a new or experienced user of 25Live, attend an upcoming training session to refresh your skills or learn advanced techniques for creating your events. These trainings are for Charles River Campus and Fenway Campus staff and faculty only. Trainings will be held on Zoom.

Intro to 25Live

This training is designed for first time users with very limited experience. The session will cover the basics of navigating 25Live, creating an event using the event form, searching, and understanding the reservation confirmation.

This training is designed for regular users who are familiar with the basics of navigating 25Live and creating events. The session will explore some of the more advanced features of creating multi-day and multi-location events, repeating events, relating events, copying events, leveraging searches and availability views, and location features and layouts.

25Live Express Learning – New in Fall 2023!

Join Andrew for focused, 15 minute learning sessions on a specific topic, function, or shortcut in 25Live. The first 5 to 10 minutes of each session will feature a live demo, and the remaining time will be devoted to your questions. The sessions will start and end on time so you can fit these learning experiences neatly into your day. All sessions will be on Zoom.

Checking Location Availability & Identifying the Location Scheduler (Space Owner)

  • Did you know that a location remains available in 25Live even if someone else has requested it but it has not been assigned yet? Learn how to check the availability of a location prior to making a request, including the ability to view if a request has already been submitted by someone else.
  • And have you ever submitted a request in 25Live and didn’t get a response right away? You’ll also learn how you can use 25Live to determine who the Location Scheduler (Space Owner) is for the location you requested and how you can find the Location Scheduler’s contact email so you can send an inquiry as to the status of your request.

15-Minute Pass Time Requirement & Closed Hours

  • Did you know there is a 15-minute pass time requirement applicable to all academic (OUR classrooms)? Learn how to check for the 15 minutes before and after your event times when submitting a request, why this time is necessary, and when it does and doesn’t apply.
  • Have you ever tried to request a location only to find out the location or building is closed for the date and time you need? Most of the time, you can still use the location if you are willing to pay to open the location. Learn how to submit a request when a location is marked as closed in 25Live.

  • Learn how to review the details of your event, so that once you submit a request you can view what you just submitted to verify accuracy. If you notice a mistake, you’ll learn how you can edit your request and re-save it, without having to create an entirely new request.

  • 25Live allows you to create favorites for locations, events, event types, and organizations. Creating favorites provides you with shortcuts to get to information quicker, and a favorite location search will help you quickly determine if the locations you like and use the most are available for your next event.

  • If you need to find a specific type of location for your event with certain requirements such as seating style, AV equipment, or capacity, this session will show you how to search for locations and apply filters, so you only see results that meet your requirements. You’ll learn how to apply filters during a general availability search outside of the Event Form as well as when you are in the process of making a request inside the Event Form.
