Organized by WorldBoston, the visit encompassed a cohort of emerging leaders from Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Fellows were eager to hear how the United States is approaching its global strategy and what future developments might mean for their region.

Drawing on their extensive experience, General Weinstein and Ambassador Storella explored the issues from defense and diplomatic perspectives. Both underscored the importance of sustained dialogue over confrontation as the U.S. and China continue to vie for influence in Southeast Asia.
