Selin Comments on U.S. Global Climate Engagement

Henrik Selin, Associate Professor of International Relations and Associate Dean for Studies at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, appeared on Voice of America – Russia to discuss the Biden White House’s climate change summit – which took place April 22-23, 2021 – and the road to the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference.

In his remarks, Selin talked about how greenhouse gas emission reductions in China, the United States and the European Unions are especially critical in addressing climate change. He also stated that it is important that the U.S. have re-engaged with global climate change cooperation; however, there is still much more action needed to address the climate crisis.
