PGC Hosts Coffee and Donuts with Dean Najam

The Pardee Graduate Council (PGC), the official graduate student organization of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, hosted a causal conversation and question-and-answer session with Pardee School Dean Adil Najam in the Pardee School Graduate Lounge on November 19, 2019.

During the conversation, Najam discussed his personal path to becoming the founding Dean of the Pardee School. Najam said he believes that being “global,” is an inevitable part of the world that we live in, and why creating a school of global studies was so essential when creating the school.

In doing so, Najam articulated what makes Pardee different from other school. The event allowed new students to get to know Najam over donuts and conversation, and hear about the future of the Pardee School.

Adil Najam is the inaugural Dean of the Pardee School and a commentator on foreign policy and diplomacy. Learn more about him here.
