Latin American Studies Hosts Fall Reception
The Latin American Studies Program, an affiliated regional center of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, held its Fall Reception on September 13, 2016.
Nearly 100 students, faculty, and friends of the Latin American Studies program filled the Pardee School to enjoy Latin American food as well as musical entertainment by local Brazilian folk artists Anna Borges and Bill Ward.
Director of the Latin American Studies Program Adela Pineda introduced the Latin American Studies faculty to students in attendance.
The Latin American Studies program at Boston University provides students with a versatile and powerful vehicle to develop an in-depth and interdisciplinary understanding of the Latin American region.The program offers students a wide variety of regionally-focused courses in Latin America, which are taught by a range of academic departments.
