Samantha Seto
CAS’27 Neuroscience; Pre-med
Hi! My name is Samantha Seto, and I am part of the class of 2027, studying Neuroscience. I am also pre-med and from Joplin, Missouri. At BU, I am a Resident Assistant in Kilachand Hall, on the executive board of Prevent at BU (a preventative healthcare club), a member of the biology frat (Beta Psi Omega), and Executive VP of the College of Arts and Sciences Student Government. I am also a research intern at a translational research lab that’s associated with BU’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) and a volunteer at Boston Medical Center!
For fun, I enjoy music (playing and listening to), running, and crocheting!
Growing up in a small, rural town and having gone to a tiny high school, I was worried about the drastic change that would come with moving to Boston. I did, however, feel at more peace knowing that I would be part of Kilachand’s close-knit living learning community, and in my time here, I am confident in saying that KHC has been all that and more for me: living, learning, and a community! Some of my closest friends now I met through living in Kilachand and its classes. I have also gotten to take classes in extremely interesting topics that I would not have been able to— and probably would not have known existed— if I weren’t a Kilachand student!
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about KHC or even just BU or Boston-related!
