Immaculate  Njoroge

CAS’29 Biology

Hai! My name is Immaculate Njoroge.

I’m from Kenya and incredibly grateful to be attending Boston University as a QuestBridge Scholar. I’m a first-year student in CAS studying Biology on the pre-med track. I find science endlessly fascinating, and I’m excited to see where my curiosity and passions within the field will lead me.

Being a member of the Kilachand Honors College has been one of the most meaningful and formative parts of my college experience. KHC quickly became a second home, one that eased my initial homesickness and allowed me to build deep friendships with both peers and professors. It’s a space where I feel supported, challenged, and truly myself.

Around campus, I’ve loved exploring different communities and getting involved in a variety of organizations, including the Outing ClubKnitting ClubSisters United, and the Marsh Chapel Choir. BU offers so many opportunities, each uniquely shaped by the people who join them, and I love letting my curiosity lead me to new adventures.

When I’m not studying at my favorite spot on the 9th floor of KHC, you’ll probably find me walking along the Charles at the Esplanade, going for a run on a good day, or having game night with friends. I also enjoy grabbing burritos at El Jefe’s (best burritos ever), and singing in the music room while FaceTiming my brother; FaceTime karaoke Fridays are sacred.

There’s so much more I’d love to share, but I’ll leave some things for us to talk about. Feel free to email me anytime about anything, even just to say hai :)
