CAS’26 Economics, Pre-Law

Hello! My name is Gabriela (she/her), and I’m a junior (class of 2026) in the College of Arts & Sciences studying Economics with a pre-law focus. I’m also part of Kilachand Honors College, where I’ve had the opportunity to dive into interdisciplinary coursework and build a strong community with my peers. From engaging in thought-provoking seminars to collaborating on research projects, Kilachand has been an integral part of my academic journey.

Professionally, I’ve gained valuable experience through internships in legal services, admissions, and public policy. I’ve worked with organizations like Greater Boston Legal Services, where I assisted low-income clients with tax filings, and the U.S. Department of State, where I contributed to policy research and diversity initiatives. On campus, I serve as a Senior Student Admissions Representative, managing logistics for thousands of prospective students and leading group visits to showcase BU’s vibrant community.

Outside of academics, I’m actively involved in student organizations and community engagement. I’m a Resident Assistant, where I support upperclassman residents and foster a welcoming living environment. I’m also passionate about legal advocacy and networking, which has led me to roles in BU’s Pre-Law Society, Pre-Law Review, and Phi Alpha Delta (professional co-ed pre-law fraternity). In my free time, I enjoy skiing, rock climbing, and volunteering with the Daughters of the American Revolution. I also love listening to music, discovering new bands, and going to concerts.

I’m excited to share my experiences and insights with future Kilachand students! Whether you’re curious about the pre-law track, balancing academics with extracurriculars, or just want to chat about life at BU, feel free to reach out—I’d be happy to connect!
