Clarissa Fomunung
CAS’27 Neuroscience, Pre-med
Hello, my name is Clarissa Fomunung (she/her). I am a sophomore from Dallas, TX majoring in neuroscience, on the pre-med track, with a minor in Spanish in the College of Arts & Sciences. I’m also a QuestBridge Scholar and a part of the Kilachand Honors College! During my time at Kilachand, I am able to take classes, unrelated to my major, that diversify my education and take a hands-on approach to my learning.
My involvement on campus includes being an ambassador for the National Society of Black Women in Medicine (NSBWM), an underclassmen representative for the African Student Organization (ASO), and a member of the social media committee for Umoja, our Black Student Union. I love collaborating with other students to celebrate culture, build community, and amplify student voices!
When I’m not nose-deep in my books or attending meetings/ events for organizations, I like to get off campus and explore Boston! I love to share my experience of Boston and my daily life in college through my YouTube channel (just search up my first & last name and don’t forget to subscribe)! Sharing my journey as a student has been so much fun and a rewarding way to connect with others.
