Alara Baran
ENG’27 Biomedical Engineering, Pre-law
Hi everyone! My name is Alara Baran and I’m a Biomedical Engineering and Pre-Law student in the class of 2027. On campus, I’m a part of the Women’s Club Volleyball team, the Turkish Student Association, and serve on the Chapter Management Team for my sorority, Delta Gamma.
Outside of my busy schedule, I love listening to music (and always have a song recommendation if you ask!), thrifting, and trying new restaurants in Boston!
I’m from San Diego, California, so I’m no stranger to how difficult the transition to college can be. However, I believe that Kilachand played a major role in easing my transition into being a student at Boston University and I am incredibly grateful for the community I have because of it.
