Yuwen Tan

Yuwen Tan is a first year PhD student in the Department of Computer Science advised by Boqing Gong. Her current research focuses on machine unlearning, a technique that aims at removing certain training data’s impact on AI models. She is currently tackling the problem of removing or forgetting specific knowledge that a foundation model has learned to better comply with user requests and privacy legislation.
