Ph.D. Student, Mechanical Engineering
Quang Thinh Ha is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Boston University. He is largely involved with high-performance computing, especially toward solving large matrix systems and simulating large-scale physics. His dissertation focuses on solving partial differential equations with mesh-free methods, particularly reactive transport in hierarchical porous media. To aid with his research, Quang has received the opportunity to work at Los Alamos National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories. He obtained his Master of Engineering from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
