Meg Tyler is an associate professor in the Department of Humanities at Boston University’s College of General Studies. Her teaching and research interests include lyric poetry, creative writing, poetry in translation and the intersection of art and literature. She is the author of A Singing Contest: Conventions of Sound in the Poetry of Seamus Heaney and Poor Earth, a chapbook of poems in the New Women’s Voices’ Series.
