Marika is a first-year Ph.D. student at BU with research interests spanning cryptography, privacy, and algorithms. She recently presented her differential privacy paper at the Privacy Enhancing Technologies Symposium this year. Prior to beginning her Ph.D., Marika studied Mathematics and Computer Science at Reed College where she wrote an undergraduate thesis about quantum algorithms and their robustness to faulty oracles.
