Ph.D. Student, Earth & Environment
Luca Morreale is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Earth and Environment at Boston University. He is also a graduate trainee in the BU Graduate Program in Urban Biogeoscience & Environmental Health. His dissertation research uses computational ecology to quantify the effects of forest fragmentation across large regions. Broadly, he is interested in applying techniques from data & computer sciences to better utilize ecological data. Previously, he worked as a research assistant at Harvard Forest in Massachusetts and before that got his undergraduate degree from Cornell University.
