Lingyi is a Ph.D. student in the Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences at Boston University. She is broadly interested in applications of machine learning, network models, and cloud computing techniques in biology and social sciences. She is currently working with Professor Vijaya B. Kolachalama on developing computational methods that assist pathological diagnosis. Her research focuses on graph-based algorithms that learn improved image representations to enhance both diagnostic accuracy and model interpretability.
