Anushya Chandran is a condensed matter theorist in the physics department at BU. She was awarded the Alfred P Sloan research Fellowship and the CAREER award by the NSF. Chandran’s primary research interests are in quantum systems out-of-equilibrium and in entanglement. She has ongoing projects that aim to discover, characterize and control novel steady states that are realized in various quantum simulators, and on designing new quantum devices for near-term computing.
