Did You Know…? Series
The “Did you know…?” series provides a venue for people to learn new things that either enable or are enabled by computing and data science. Topics they might not even realize they wanted to know! And they can meet other similarly inquisitive people while adding more tools to their belt. The series is intended to be an informal, low-barrier mechanism for convergence, and welcomes a broad audience of students, faculty, and staff from across the landscape of disciplines at Boston University to participate. Offered in the spirit of a brown-bag lunch series (60 minutes in length, with a focused 20-minute lightning presentation, followed by Q&A and an opportunity for networking before and after the seminar), the series events take place monthly.
