Month of AI in Materials Kickoff: Research Matchmaking

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is happy to present the Month of AI in Materials. The series will begin on Friday October 10 with a kickoff event called Research Matchmaking. The event will be similar to a poster session but with a more targeted setup. Students will create research "flyers", which will focus on either a dataset or an AI/machine learning method a student/research group has. The goal of this event will be to match groups with datasets to groups with methods, allowing for potential research collaborations. Importantly, the datasets must be related to materials science/engineering, though that is intentionally broad and can include any application space. A student may present multiple flyers, but each flyer must be targeted towards a specific dataset or AI/ML tool in their research group. Upon registering you will be emailed with a template for the flyer and example flyers for datasets and methods and will be added to our Google Drive where you can upload your flyer.
