Hariri Institute Graduate Student Fellow Nomination Form

Each Boston University Department and program can nominate one student. Each department’s nomination must be submitted by the Department Chair and/or the Department Graduate Program Director. We ask that you keep your nominations confidential, and do not inform candidates of their nomination.

  • Please include your full title. For example "Assistant Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering, AIR Affiliate, etc."

    Headshots will be used for the creation of profiles to be displayed on our Graduate Student Fellows webpage as well as for the creation of awardee graphics which are promoted on the Institute's social media channels.
  • The nomination letter must be uploaded as a single PDF file. The letter should highlight how the candidate might contribute to, and benefit from participation in the HIC Graduate Student Fellows Program (e.g., how the candidate personifies the main HIC tenet of the transformative potential of computational perspectives in research, how the candidate's scholarship might contribute to discovery and innovations through the use of computational and data-driven approaches, and/or how the candidate's scholarship might yield advances in the science of computing inspired by challenges in other disciplines). Please keep your nominations confidential.
