The Hariri Institute hosted an NSF Visioning Workshop to identify best practices and perceived challenges faced by cities wishing to advance research projects that reach and positively impact communities.
The Institute will host a special colloquium in which Vatche Ishakian will present his work on Serverless Computing. Ishakian will identify key characteristics and use cases as well as describe technical challenges and open problems.
On July 18th, 2017, the BWWC celebrated the progress that the 100% Talent Compact has made over the past year and looked ahead to the upcoming 2017 data collection process, which will take place this September. This data collection process is made possible by researchers at BU’s Rafik B. Hariri Institute for Computing and Computational Science & Engineering, who have designed a secure way for companies to report the data anonymously.
