Save the Date: BU Data Science (BUDS) Day 2017

BUDS_allwhite_trans_nodate The Hariri Institute for Computing and Data Science Initiative are pleased to announce that the 2nd Annual BU Data Science (BUDS) Day will be held on Friday, January 27th, 2017. The event will be co-chaired by Assistant Professor Dylan Walker (Information Systems, Questrom School of Business) and Associate Professor Evan Johnson (Medicine & Biostatistics, School of Medicine).

The event will feature both BU researchers and external panelists for a day-long symposium. From social sciences, humanities, law, business and medicine — to engineering, computer science, and statistics – BUDS Day aims to forge cross-disciplinary connections and spur future research collaborations.

The event is open to all members of the BU community who build, analyze, or utilize statistical and computational tools to collect, curate, store, transfer, analyze, or visualize various types of data in their work or research.
