Convergence & Collaboration Around Cloud Computing, Data Security, and AI Event

On September 30th, Boston University’s Office of Research hosted an event spotlighting the Hariri Institute for Computing and Researchers focusing on Cloud computing, secure and private computation, and artificial intelligence (AI) that are shaping the landscape around computational and data-driven research.

The Come Together, Right Now: Convergence & Collaboration Around Cloud Computing, Data Security, and AI event, gave the Boston University community an opportunity to learn about the research being done at the Hariri Institute, and to obtain information about the Institute’s role with collaborating faculty around cloud computing.

Researchers are producing an increasing quantity of data, which is connected to many of the most important challenges facing our society. But without the collaboration and convergence of this data with AI, we cannot utilize the decision-making capabilities of sophisticated, modern AI. When we bring together cloud computing and secure and private computation with AI, we can shape the landscape around data-driven research and find essential solutions to the challenges facing society.
