Institute Sponsors 5 Student Poster Sessions This May
The Hariri Institute is excited to sponsor student poster sessions and presentations for four courses this semester: Data Mechanics, Computational Fabrication, Mobile App Development, Cyber Physical Systems and Data Science.
The Institute’s research profile provides broader impact by enabling researchers to test and implement new ideas while offering exclusive experiential learning opportunities to BU students. As part of its support of these experiential learning courses, the Institute hosts poster sessions in which students present their final group projects. Through these experiential learning opportunities, students are able to apply classroom learning to real-world challenges and gain exposure to potential employers. These events are open to the public and attendees from the local computer science and tech community are invited and encouraged to attend. Poster sessions provides unique opportunities to meet with over two hundred students interested in topics ranging from data science, to machine learning, to software development.
