These are videos by Professor Dan Cole and should be used both as stories for students and samples for students to use when recording their own stories.
The first video describes a clever use by a student of a LinkedIn method to make contacts for internships and jobs. Two students are described, both with excellent GPAs, but one student only sends out resumes, while the other makes connections using LinkedIn between people at companies she wants to work at and people who could serve as references for her. A very different outcome occurs.

In the second video, the use of portfolios and special projects are talked about in terms of helping to obtain a job. In particular, one student very creatively prepared a project prior to an interview, showed it at the interview, along with his skills, and immediately got the job.
