Tara Doherty

Tara Doherty, DNP, PMHNP, FNP, MSN, RN-BSN has 25 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and nine years as a Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) programs at Northeastern University. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Saint Joseph. Her career has included working in community/public health, women’s health, college health, and urgent care settings. At the Danielsen Institute, she is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing psychopharmacology care to clients. She understands and stresses the importance of holistic care with a focus on the mind/body/spirit connection.
