Sarah A. Crabtree, Ph.D., LMFT (she/her) is the Assistant Director of Research, a couple/marriage and family therapist, and a training seminar leader at the Albert & Jessie Danielsen Institute. As a clinician and scholar, she is motivated by the fundamental belief that constructive relationships have the potential to facilitate healing. Her clinical and scholarly interests include psychotherapy assessment, process, and outcome, religion and spirituality, the development of authentic virtue and promotion of holistic human flourishing, romantic relationships, and the effects of trauma and systemic injustice. Dr. Crabtree has taught couple and family therapy courses in graduate level training programs at Boston University (Boston, MA) and Bethel University (St. Paul, MN). She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Psychotherapy Research, the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and the New England Association for Family and Systemic Therapy.
