Below is an example of a four-year plan of a CGS student who intends to complete a Bachelor of Science in Film & Television at the College of Communication (COM). Students will work with their CGS academic advisors and the College of Communication to plan their own pathway to a film and television degree.

*Second-semester CGS sophomores following the COM Film & TV pathway should consider taking a course that ties to their intended Film & TV area of study:

^Students interested in studying abroad in the fall of junior year should consider taking COM FT 310 in the second semester of sophomore year.

**Choose your electives carefully to fulfill any remaining BU Hub requirements. External courses are not eligible for Hub general education credit.

You will find a list of all of the courses that carry Hub units on the University’s BU Hub website. (CGS RH 103 and CGS RH 104 substitute for CAS WR 151/152/153 and CAS WR 120 on the COM Curriculum Guide. CGS RH 103 also fulfills a single unit in Oral and/or Signed Communication.)
