Conference: Bartolomé de Las Casas: History, Philosophy, & Theology in the Age of European Expansion
As part of the 800th anniversary of the Order of Preachers as well as the 100th anniversary of Providence College (Providence, Rhode Island), the College invites interested scholars to the international conference, “Bartolomé de Las Casas, O.P. History, Philosophy, and Theology in the Age of European Expansion” (October 7-9, 2016). American Society of Missiology Call for Papers
ASM Annual Meeting 2015 The American Society of Missiology (ASM) will meet June 19-21, 2015 at Wheaton College. The primary theme for this year’s annual meeting is Missio-logoi: The Many Languages of Mission. A related symposium, especially but not exclusively for younger scholars of mission, will focus on publishing in the field of missiology (current trends and future prospects). The Yale-Edinburgh Group on the History of the Missionary Movement and World Christianity is calling for papers for a conference at Yale Divinity School in New Haven, Connecticut on June 25 – 27, 2015. Offers of short papers are welcome on any aspect of the conference theme: Religion and Religions in the History of Missions and World Christianity.
