Patrick Clancy has been with The Community Builders since 1971, and has led the organization since 1976. TCB is a mission driven 501(c)(3) organization focused on building and sustaining strong communities. TCB has been planning, developing and operating affordable and mixed-income housing communities for over forty years. It is the nation’s largest non-profit urban residential developer and operator. Mr. Clancy has served as a member of the National Association of Home Builders’ Multifamily Housing Round Table, as a member and chairman of the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency Multifamily Advisory Committee, as a member of the Advisory Committee for the Center for Real Estate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and of the Affordable Housing Advisory Council of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston and as a director of the Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership, Inc. and of the Philadelphia Development Partnership. He is currently a Director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston. He is the author of Tax Incentives and Federal Housing Programs: Proposed Principles for the 1990s. He co-teaches Housing Finance and Community Development.
