Mr. Maurer is an attorney with the Internal Revenue Service Office of the Chief Counsel in Boston. As the Service’s industry counsel for property and casualty insurance, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, health insurance, and captive and offshore insurance transactions, he is involved in the litigation of issues arising in those industries. He has been a faculty member since 1998.
